Background

Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) were a kind of oligopeptides with the antibacterial activity, which existed in the body of the living being, were the important components of the natural defense system in the host. AMPs had a wide inhibitory activity on the microbial, tumor, virus, fungi and protozoa etc. the AMPs can effectively improve the specific immunity and nonspecific immunity. Kurusaka et al found that CRAMP (one type of the mouse peptide, which was homologous to the human LL37) intraperitoneal injection remarkably increased the level of specific antibody (Fig 1.) tideasy (provided by the Shenzhen Sunsmile Biotechnology Co., Ltd) was the compound AMPs product produced by the use of the genetic engineering yeast which can express several AMPs with adopting the recombinant DNA technology. Many results shown that dietary supplementation of Tideasy with 0.3% remarkably decreased the stillbirth in primiparous sows. And adding the Tideasy with 0.3-1.0% in the feed also greatly improved the level of HC antibody in pigs. In all, Tideasy which was the compound AMPs had the role of immunity promotion.
